Vasculaze Treatment
The veins that run under your skin often cause unwanted skin irregularities. Vascular lesions include birthmarks like port wine stains that can be distracting when on the face. Spider and varicose veins are other vascular issues that can alter the appearance of your skin. At Maia Plastic Surgery, we offer a non-invasive option for removing vascular lesions and visible veins. Our Washington, DC, area clinics can perform Vasculaze treatment to remove spider/varicose veins and other vascular lesions.
What is Vasculaze?
Optimas by InMode is a laser skin treatment platform that includes the Vasculaze device for treating vascular lesions. This treatment uses pinpoint laser energy to target unwanted veins that cause blemishes on the skin. The light energy is attracted to the blood vessels, destroying the vascular walls. The targeted veins are reabsorbed into the body, and the blood vessels are no longer visible, creating an even tone for the skin. This treatment can be used for birth marks or visible blood vessels on the face, as well as for spider and varicose veins on the legs.
The Vasculaze treatment can be performed in less than an hour – the amount of time needed depends on the size of the area treated. This is a non-invasive procedure; patients do not need to schedule downtime after treatment. For most vascular lesion removal, it does require multiple sessions to achieve the desired result.
Varicose and Spider Vein Treatment
If you have a spider web of veins on your face or protruding varicose veins on your legs, Vasculaze treatments may be perfect for you. This laser therapy targets the hemoglobin in the unwanted blood vessels while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. You can improve the tone of your facial skin or create more youthful-looking legs without invasive procedures.
